Our latest project, research on "micronoise" phenomena (why phenomena? it's up to you) This project is open for submissions.
The point is: various artists presenting their own vision, thoughts, etc. on term "micronoise" in a 1:00 sound piece (micronoise standart length as we see it).
You probably wondering why we called the compilation "Hitler 2080" and i must say it's totally a random word and we are not nazis or something but somehow that word combination is connected to micronoise like a thing from future, an impossible thing, like that feeling when you gazing into the night sky full of shiny stars.
So in general micronoise could be something between glitch/electroacoustic/microwave/micro techno/fast forwarded soundscapes/8 bit/bleepy/chaotic/clicks and cuts/random flashbacks/synthburgers/noisy/noisz/noisx/etc etc etc. But in the end we'll see in which exact way every artist sees it.
Also, we don't want "another noise compilation" so please dont' send us plain-harsh-boring-noise (because this is definitely not micronoise :) or if you want only to promote yourself, this is not the right place, i'm afraid. But hey, we're friendly, drop us a line at dotnum@gmail.com!

On the right you can see current progress of the project. We accept submissions in any file formats but .WAVs are preferred. There is no deadline but we'll close the submissions when amount of recieved tracks will be around 20. The compilation will be released as freely distributed package of mp3's (including cover art and infos, sure).

Official project start. 17.11.08 - First track by Morgen Mittag. 24.11.08 - Lake Palter entered the game. Second track. 28.11.08 - Andrzej Piontek is in, 3 tracks. 19.01.08 - Neurobit kicks in. 4 tracks in total. 04.02.09 - Fifth track -by Sound_00. 17.02.09 - Tutka makes it six. 24.02.09 - Razxca joined the party, seventh track. 12.03.09 - Gintas K taking part. Eight. 27.03.09 - Kidsok Nuit is in. Nine micronoises so far. 29.04.09 - Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Biestmilch, 10 tracks, half of 20, , ,, 04.05.09 - Rainbosws joined. Eleven tracks! 22.05.09 - Number twelve: The Apathetic Cat. 29.05.09 - +1 minute from Matt Holland. 31.07.09 - Attack of The Flying Pope connected. Waiting for user input. Transferring data. 10%.. 25%.. 75%.. 100% completed. Track number 14 successfully received.
